Product Information The Cascade II:1024 camera utilizes a back-illuminated, frame-transfer EMCCD that is thermoelectrically cooled to -60°C without the use of any type of liquid. The combination of the sensor's small pixel size (13 x 13 microns) and large imaging format (1024 x 1024 pixels) facilitates the effective use of short exposure times with the ability to cover a greater amount of real estate on the microscope slide, thus allowing researchers to gather more data per acquisition.
